But as said above, if you really prefer trains it's also possible to get a train to Gorna Oryahovitsa and a local bus or taxi from there to V.T. It also conveniently happens to be about half way between Sofia and Varna.Personally I will probably do this by bus, there are fast, comfortable buses from Sofia to Velikot Tarnovo and from there to Varna. That is one of the top destinations and very close to Gorna Oryahovitsa.
