According to Kuncheva, the idea for the establishment of such a region came from the county governor of Constanta, Romania. All documents and declarations for the region's establishment will be signed at the meeting, during which its statute will be adopted, Varna's Municipal Council Chairman Borislav Goutsanov was quoted as saying. Greece, Moldova, Armenia, Serbia and other countries have also shown interest in the proposed region, she said.
