A meeting with Bulgarian Trade Unions Representatives (Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria) is also scheduled.  Economic partnership agreements  The ACP-EU Assembly will also debate economic partnership agreements, further to the Assembly's adoption of the "Kigali Declaration for development-friendly economic partnership agreements" (EPAs) in November 2007. European Parliament President Hans-Gert Pöttering will address the parliamentarians in a video message.  In Sofia, MEPs will meet Ivailo Kalfin, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Mrs Kinnock and Mr Rasmussen will also give a press conference at around midday on Monday 17 March 2008.  The debate on EPAs may be attended by European Commission Director-General for trade David O'Sullivan (Monday 17 March).  The delegation will be chaired by Helmuth Markov (GUE/NGL, DE), INTA chairman, Daniel Varela Suanzes-Carpegna (EPP-ED, ES), David Martin (PES, UK), Vural Öger (PES, DE), Marusya Ivanova Lyubcheva (PES, BG) and Ryszard Czarnecki (UEN, PL).  The development of the Black Sea region and ports will take centre stage. The formal opening on 17 March 2008 will be followed by a press conference at 12.30h.  The key speakers at the formal opening, which starts on Monday 17 March at 11.00h, are ACP-EU co-Presidents Glenys Kinnock and Wilkie Rasmussen (Cook Islands). The meeting is hosted by Petar Kanev, Vice-Chair of the Economic Policy Committee.  They will also meet the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. This Round table is organised by the Bulgarian Black Sea Municipalities.  With the Bulgarian Industrial Association, MEPs will have a discussion on “International trade - Bulgarian and EU priorities”.
