To Join Schengen Space In March 2011 ... REGION: Romania, Bulgaria - Bourgas
The bilateral cooperation in this field is necessary considering that having a secure Black Sea region, which has become external border of the European Union, is one of the topics on which the two States will be monitored prior to their admission into the space. Until so far, the Bulgarian authorities have already invested EUR 2 mln in mounting a video surveillance system on the seaside.
