used Penguin Travel (they used bulgariacarrent.com) as their additional charges for pickup in Romania were cheaper than others. Sofia office as well. The service has been excellent from both and the prices were as good as you can get anywhere online (perhaps you can find cheaper on a "backstreet"). posed to be in Bucharest for 1.30 pm but due to delay we didn't arrive until after midnight. Sofia and cann't hang around, so he got a train back to Sofia and they sent another driver out in his own car from Varna to Rousse to pick up the car and deliver it to us in Bucharest. Bulgaria for us, switched to his own car and drove back to Varna, with us following, through fog, snow and ice, until we left him near Shoumen. usse and meeting him, he got the train to Kaspichan from Varna and he drove the car all the way back to Bucharest, most of the trip in inclement weather, hanging around to locate our hotel and drop us off there, as opposed to the airport. based on our experience, I will never have any hesitation at recommending them (not that I will recommend doing that trip in the conditions that we had to suffer).Rentomobile have also been good, picking us up at 3 a.m. Beach from Bourgas to change a headlight bulb and saving us (well, recovering us) from the "spider" in St Konstantin.
