Also quite often the train stations are not located within the city, but some distance outside of it.How long are you planning on visiting? Both nationalities need a visa for Bulgaria. Can't make any definite recommendations w/o knowing your preferences.I can say that if you enjoy visiting Old Towns, history and culture then imho Plovdiv is not to be missed. Do you want to visit cities, beaches, mountains, countryside or what? Post a Bulgaria travel question and get unbiased, timely answers and insights from real travelers and Bulgaria locals. They go to more places and run more frequently.
